BUCYRUS — Today (Thursday, July 20) is Senior Day at the Crawford County Fair. Entertainment is planned from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Youth Building and lunch will be provided to seniors that have reserved tickets.
This program was put together with a lot of support from local businesses and is free for the Seniors. It is sponsored by Heartland of Bucyrus.
More than 350 reservations were received from seniors in the county. And there was waiting list for others because the facility could not hold any more people.

“Just a trim around the ears, please. I’ll take off the wool socks later,” said the sheep as it primped Tuesday at the Crawford County Fair. Photo by Don Tudor.
Also, today is Veteran’s Day at the fair. All seniors and veterans can get into the fair for just $2, at the game.
The annual Ham and Beat supper for veterans is from 5-7 p.m, also in the Youth Building.
